One part of the production of my magazine was to make sure how I would want the typography to be. This included the font style for the masthead, body copy, coverlines, buzzwords, puffs and other elements on the cover page. I used a website recommended by my teacher, to choose from a variety of fonts ie www.dafont.com .
MASTHEAD:
I wanted to go for a casual look for the masthead but also quite appealing to the eye apart from casual. By casual I mean I did not want a pointy professional font but a friendly one appropriate for a dog magazine. The font I chose was Grobold by Guy Buhry as it went right according to my preferences. It will be placed on top of my magazine stretched left to right.
COLOUR SCHEME:
The color scheme of my magazine would be a light color on a dark background most probably. Because of the model on my cover, the color scheme is most likely to have the model's fur coat colors as the main establishing ones. This makes my color palette consist of brown, black and green all together.
