SCHEDULE

I didn't have to plan a complicated detailed schedule for my shoot since the model was available at my house at all times but the most important factor that needed to be considered surely affects my schedule making, i.e. lighting. I usually had classes in the morning and would be back by 3-4pm and till then, broad daylight wouldn't have been present at all for a good shoot. Instead I planned to do it on a weekend when I would start the shoot early.

-Saturday 12th March. 11am- 1pm

This was the day and time I initially planned my shoot but unfortunately the weather was unfavorable and it rained too, which led me to having to delay my dates.

-Sunday 13th March

I did my shoot on this day on the same timings, I had a broad daylight and the weather worked in my favor too. The shoot was done for the cover page as well as my double spread and content page.

-Thursday 18th March

On this day I had to do a reshoot because my previous shoot had some flaws and was definitely not satisfactory for my teacher as well.

PUBLISHING HOUSE

The publishing house that I chose for my animal magazine would be DAWN. DAWN is a well known publishing house since its the oldest english language newspaper/ magazine in Pakistan. They usually have their spotlights on a variety of topics so in my opinion, they will feel no hesitation to publish my genre as well.  Another reason of the less likely chances for DAWN to reject my magazine is the number of people with dogs as pets in our country is quite high, which means that the genre of my magazine will be proven beneficial for many people since it is highly representative.

PHOTOGRAPHY RULES

Photography rules and their information is as important as anything else in media.  We discussed a number of rules that should be considered while we take a photo, and rules that we should knowing while taking our shots. Here are some of the shots I took and the rules that they belong to : DEPTH OF FIELD: 'Depth of field' is used for objects in the background and the foreground. It focuses on the main subject. LEADING LINES: 'Leading Lines' show the effect that the viewer is being dragged towards a specific subject and draw the viewers eye to a specific direction. NOSE ROOM: 'Nose Room' is the space between the subject in a photo and the next moving or still object being looked towards. HEAD ROOM: The 'Head Room' is the space between the subjects head and the top of the frame ie the space of the room.

DISTRIBUTION STRATEGY

As far as the distribution of my magazine is concerned, it will be made available in majorly all urban areas that are highly populated. These would be Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, and Multan in particular since statistics and research states that mostly dog owners are found in these urban areas.   I will be selling my magazine's copies at a fair price in the number of 1000. These will be available at big shops and stalls where mostly the upper class, upper middle class, and the middle class people will have their reach.
